I created a website for my dad and he doesn't like. After numerous consultations with him he still feels its not beautiful enough to start advertising with it though he is pleased with the layout.
I have removed the logo and contact details. How would you make it more appealing ? I am using a drag and drop software.

Don't be too hard on the guy. Getting the combination of fonts, spacing, colours, photos,css, layout is really hard especially if you start from scratch.
If you guys are so good rather post your websites you designed to inspire the OP.

I agree he is making a lot of basic mistakes. He should either realize it is a learning journey that will take time and reading a lot of tutorials on the net.I would be interested to know the OP's age etc.. are you in IT have you done sites before what kind of experience do you have with graphic tools ... would help guys give you relevant info.
