Learn some semantics.
Don't have a paragraphs of text seperated by <br>'s, put the paragraphs in <p> tags.
Don't 'recreate' a list using <br>'s, use <ul> and <li>

It's not his code that is the problem, it's the entire design aesthetics.

It's like someone drawing stick figures when trying to make a realistic painting, and you comment that he used the wrong type of brush tips.
You're missing the big picture entirely. The man can't paint... what type of tools he's using unfortunately has nothing to do with it.

Jesus, that site is amateurish, it looks like an old WAP site, horrible font, horrible colour with just one big block of poorly written text.

The best thing to do would be to delete the whole thing and start again, but this time in 2015 not 2002.

When I was editing stuff to get that 'mockup' I noticed his HTML could be structured better..
