So a while ago I first started the INSANITY (link) workout program and did it for about a week; I then went to Cape Town on holiday and when I can back I was just too lazy. :(

I am now starting again and I AM going to do the full 60 days (I stated today; 18 June 2012).

If you don't mind I will be posting my progress in this thread to help keep me motivated, and let you know how effective the program is.

I am around 1.87m tall and pretty skinny (around 72kg). I haven't been doing exercise for quite some time and so what I'm hoping to gain out of this is to get cardio-fit, as well as hopefully build some lean muscles, so I actually look good and athletic. (I used to have a 6pack showing, but I have noticed that it isn't showing any more which I hate.)

Day 1: 18/10/2012

Day 1: 18/10/2012

Did the fit test today, was really hectic and I realised just how unfit I was.

Day 2: 19/06/2012

Plyometric Cardio Circuit: Day 2

Got about halfway through the 45min program and was finished. The rest I kinda did it on and off with lots of breaks as I was just so tired (more related to cardio fitness than my muscles).

Can't view the link so not sure what the insanity workout is . I would start slowly building up cardio and strength for a month and then build up etc . Not sure if its good but its what I am doing

Plyo is pretty tough, for me its actually the worst of all the cardio workouts :/ I started really unfit as well, but within two weeks I felt a major difference. Just keep at it
I'm on P90X though. Let me know how it goes when you reach the one where you do like a buhjillion different push ups, that totally and completely wrecked me. To the point where I if I got 1 rep I was proud of myself :D

Stopped for now, will pick it up again when I dont have to freeze my butt off in the mornings
