Nice price and it will work for what you need it for, but Keeper said you should stay away from them...
Off topic again, Will the C2Q Q8200 not overclock better than the Q6600? it's the same price, but is a 45nm part...

LOOK at the supported PSU list on amd's site. just be safe. (the side of my 4870x2 says they are HIGHLY recommended.....highly..lol)
SharkBait has a PSU that is not on the list, that works...but the odin might not be so lucky. gigabyte is rather new to psu's....
I thought the odin was good, till I saw the corsair's - they have much more amps than the odins! (and more cables)

They are not on the AMD verified list, but my CM 750 isn't as well and it is working...
I know - I e-mailed them to ask if they have corsairs...
I DID see some PSU's in the shop when i went to pick up my 4870 though...
if he's in randburg, might as well go have a look - their prices are the cheapest ive EVER seen, beating frontosa and rectron! (and they sell to the public - bonus!)
I cant find a single review for the Odin 585w??? Its not even on the Gigabyte websitedude - you live like next door to PC International!

just future proofing for my second 4870x2, when the time comes....
they last very long - won't be upgrading my PSU for a while

I phoned them, they quite far up braam fischer so its about 1,5km from my house lol, best i just phone quick and ask if they got Them PSU u want

just look if you go to pick up your stuff, if you buy there...
