Right, I am uninstalling Windows Live Messender. It's the most irritating piece of cr@@ on my machine! I am going to give Pidgin a try....

Well, I don't like the ads that popup, the jump list in Windows 7 does not work properly and the interface just doesn't feel good.

I suppose it's not terribly bad, but not for me.

I'm pretty sure you will be a lot happier with pidgin. I've been using it for the last year, and I'm not about to change any time soon.
