American Gangster is an exellent movie, I would recommend this one to all the Godfather fans.
 
Saw The Kingdom the other night - not too bad.
 
Saw Kingdom of Heaven the other day for the first time... I know its old, but damn it was good!!!

Good entertainment!
 
watched quite a number of movies lately. last night i watched 30 days of night. was pretty ok. nothing spectacular.
 
Watched The Golden Compass yesterday.

Nicely done film - good to see Sam Elliott in a recently made movie :)
 
Mr Brooks - interestingly twisted

Die Hard 4.0 - easy entertainment, bit over the top though.

The Bourne Ultimatum - Really enjoyed it, good action.

The Usual Suspects - henjoyable

Snatch - an all time favourite!!!

I want to see the Golden Compass...
 
The last 2 films that impressed me recently are not new films but they both blew me away

if you wouldn't mind, could you explain why donnie darko impressed, my bf loved that too and I fail to understand it. It struck me as creepy and dark.

Just watched an old bnw movie called "The Third Man" from somewhere around the 50s, with Orson Welles in it. Was suprisingly good actually, apart from some retro stereotypes, another on from around that era is "12 Angry Men" - its an exceptional drama.

Just on an old movie trip at the moment, going thru the Connery Bonds too..
 
Just watched a movie called The Man From Earth. It was very interesting: The entire film basically takes place in one room

Hitman - Excellent
Waitress - Chickflix,not for me
This Christmas -Nice family movie
 
OK - so I had a look at Hitman.

Wish Jason Statham played in it - would have made the movie much more enjoyable.

A big thumbs down - not a cool movie.
 
Just finished watching "i am legend". Was alright but nothing amazingly spectacular. Why do trailors always make the movie look better than it really is :(
 
I watched stardust lately, it was one of the most well made movies i have ever seen. i loved the story.

Excellent movie IMO. Took balls to make it. Don't expect a "big Will Smith action movie". Pretty emotional in some scenes.
