MyBB BF3 Clan

Get my replacement board tomorrow. First thing is fresh install win7 and drivers, bf3, other apps must stand in line and wait.

Awesome games tonight everyone. We really are coming together and working damn well as a squad. Im seeing some good team work and certain players are gelling well. Look forward to tomorrow...

Very awesome tonight. Two squads working together was just killer! Its actually quite amazing how we went from losing really badly to dominating as soon as we started working together and communicating between the two squads.

I seriously think I should upgrade to that RAT5 and also get 1mbps internet, cause ****s getting serious now :D
 
I tried to help out the few games I played but my mike was up to carp :/ So I just mortared on the small maps, and rambo'd on the big maps

I let Gankster (I think) be your direct support, while I ran around making sure I was in range of the enemy mortar so I could drop a shell on their head :D Although I listened out for the "there are a whole bunch of guys all in one place" too for some extra kills :p

Agree. After a few customizations it is very very comfortable. And the weights that you can add/remove makes it so that it even moves at the exact ease you want.

I took a bit of a break from Eve with the whole super cap debacle, waiting for the winter expansion to maybe get back into it :D

Dust514 looks cool but it's xbox360 only last I heard :(

No, it's PS3 only. I think they will start with the beta for Dust the same time as the winter expansion. I read somewhere they hired a DICE guy, and he had a lot to do with the design. Also CCP has a BF3 server and its called "CCP Games <3 DICE"
 
I took a break last night and jammed some dragon age 2 for a while, might not get a chance tonight as wife is going out.

But I'll be on tomorrow night :) wife and baby are going to the inlaws for the night
 
So last night was great. One question. When I finally got my Team Speak to work I had no sound in BF3. Is there some sort of setting I missed? Also I'm looking for a good gaming headset because this Logitech 860 is not cutting it. Any suggestion, I have my eye on the Razer Banshee (good buy?).
 
Also... I think I was lucky to get in the same team with the guys. How do you make sure you get into the same team? Stupid questions I know...

IIRC under the squad tab when you are about to deploy you can switch teams. Under that tab as well you can browse the squads to try get in with people you know. You need to first click on leave current squad, then select the one you want to be in, then click join (if it has space)

You either join as a platoon, or you join a server with open spots and drag a friend to join you. Or join a server where they are playing already (Given they are on your friends list)

So you telling me I need to add all of you guys as friends and from there it's easy to setup everything?

Guys, can I request something? When you give intel on teamspeak please use compass directions?

Example: Someone says "There is a sniper on the other side of the market"
- Firstly, most of the time I don't know who said that(I'm still learning the voices)
- Secondly, I don't know where you are(or were), so I don't know which side the other side is.

If you said "There is a sniper to the east of the market" and I'm hearing sniper bullets whizzing past, then I would know on which side of this little crate to hide behind. It would also be faster for the team to spot him and take him out.
 
To add to the above, use alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo for conquest points. B, C, D, E all sound the same!

It is easier.
But you can join a MyBB platoon as well from as far as I can understand.
