Can be done, my fellow nicotine addicts. Hang tough!
11 days in, cold turkey. So far reasonably manageable until I have a few drinks and the misery kicks in. Oh well, no beers for a while it will have to be![]()
I just kept telling myself that the guy I'm watching having a smoke, I bet he also wants to quit.
So stick to it. There comes a time when you don't think about it constantly, for me now it's a fleeting thought every other day
On 21st December 7.21 pm it will be 3 years stopped for me.
116 days without smoking, how is everyone else doing?

Did not smoke a cigarette until October 2013 for a personal best of 18 months. Managed to quit again in June so 5 months off again.
Thanks Spizz, and well done to you!
There has been a lot of mention of Allen Carr's method in this thread, but I dont remember seeing any links to this video, unless perhaps I missed it.
Anyway I think anyone quitting smoking should give it a watch!

Had a couple of cigars while on holiday and it just spiralled from there.Out of interest, how did you end up starting again after 18 months?
