yup, its obviously the writer that's doing the deciding.
 
3 hours - pending.. not sure why I bother adding my 2 cents to articles.. not worth the effort.

Also as other people have commented - even if you're slightly critical . gets removed. eye roll.

Is it me or does it feel like certain individuals get to have the comments posted without moderation. Meanwhile, I have to wait for a celestial year to get mine approved.

It's done by the person that published the article I believe. So its down to when they feel like doing it and if they like it or not.
Try writing something where you complement the article vs being critical of it and see how much faster the former gets approved.

Same for me. I don't even bother reading the main articles on the website anymore, I come straight to the forum. If MyBB is dependent on clicks for add revenue they certainly are not getting any money from me.
 
Seems to be some level of enforcing what they can and can't reject. The stuff they can't reject, they just leave in pending for ages. MyBB Journalists are a bunch of trash...
