The immediate advantage will be to inform users what they can expect of their service and tell the providers where there are problems. It will further be able to assist ICASA and the Competition Commission to use this research in decision making and policy development. We can sit back and simply say nothing will change, but a pro-active approach is always better I believe. In short, it gives consumers a voice.
