Wow thanks, I guess I have to apply in store for the month to month deal.As we already had a ZTE MC801A 5G router in the office, we decided a month-to-month SIM-only offer would be our best option.
Unfortunately, this offer was not available online (like contracts), and we had to visit an MTN store to get the SIM.

Yep.Thanks, I have a Huawei B525. Think it's one of the recommended routers.
Routing would go through whichever RNC is closest, depends on your area.Anybody check if routing is all going through JHB or does it route depending on your location?
It's not necessary, but antennas do help in most situations unless the tower is really close. With his Fixed LTE Package, do you have to put Up Antenna's ?![]()
Correct as most external antennas does not support mimo 4x4 which really improve speeds! It's not necessary, but antennas do help in most situations unless the tower is really close.
I got this deal code from a MTN store for the 10Mbps R499 month to month - 2021304-CT-000400
SIM onlySim only? Or can you do month to month and then return the router when you cancel?
Give them the finger and go over to RainI have tried to get the uncapped deal.. Sim only at mtn store and was told even though its month to month its still handled like a contract and you still have to go through credit checks.. I asked why is it then so easy to get connected on rain with month to month data plans.. Their response was they not Rain.. So why do they want to take on Rain when Mtn is making it very hard to acess the month to month pakages and handling it like contracts.. It just doesn't make sense to me
