Mythbusters - Like or Dislike

Overall I think DSTV is 'n bit annoying with all the repeats but at least Mythbusters is cool, I won't miss an episode. I just love it when they make things go "BOOM".:D

Lately there's too much boom. It's more about the explosions than the actual myths these days. Preferred the earlier seasons.
 
I Must say their acting can be lousy sometimes, But i still like them a lot.
 
Used to like it, until they brought in all those extra people.
 
Still very entertaining although some of the Myths these days are getting a bit silly and predictable now.
 
Was excellent at first. Now its just okay, still watch it, but dont go out of my way to do so.
 
It's a lot better than that surviving sh*t. I'm not very fond of watching shows were the presenter eats fruit that came out of bear crap.:sick::sick:
 
I agree with you guys that Mythbusters went a bit "funny" for a while...

Too predictable... less science... more ridiculousnessness...

but season 8 was actually awesome... the younger Mythbusters toned down their "Over the topness" and began to do some pretty interesting things.
Jamie and Adam actually went back to "more science" with many more interactive explanations (science time-outs if you prefer) which makes you feel as if you're part of the logical process involved in busting myths...
Season 9 has been awesome so far... (9 episodes in)

from seasons 4 through 6, i found that chick soooooo irritating! Trying to "out-man" the 2 guys! But she's toned it down a lot and the 3 younger Mythbusters actually have pretty cool "chemistry" these days.

Jamie and Adam have stopped blowing random things up at every chance... they've taken to more "refined" mythbusting.

I mean... the 2 latest episodes didn't have a single explosion! episode 8 was all about falling into water (if it was the same as concrete if you go high enough)... and whether or not you could dodge a sniper's bullet if he took the shot from far away enough.
then episode 9 (last night's episode) was about whether a fishing reel could catch fire from the fish running with the line and what you could use to in a jam if you get a flat tire and you don't have a spare...

I really enjoy mythbusters... one of the few series I follow religiously.

That is an extensive analogy, that I absolutely agree with!
 
connected DSTV premuim for the IPL and managed to watch all the Mythbusters I have missed during the last 2/3 years during this time.
 
I just watched a couple of their clips on youtube, they are hilarious. stupid acting, but interesting!
 
More Mythbusting less BOOMS!!! On 2nd thoughts... MORE MYTHBUSTING AND MORE BOOMS!!! :) Make each episode 2 hours long :)
