They worlds apart.

What can a SE do that a Nokia can't do better???????????
SE loses it value 10 time faster than what Nokia does. The shape of the SE has not changed since they start way back.:D

i know for certain that vc have discontinued the n80 so i assume mtn have done the same. the reason for this is that alot of the n80 supplied by vc had serious software problems so they just stopped selling it as it probably cost too much to fix in the end. the same applied with the p990 but don't know if they discontinued that! therefore mtn has probably done the same.

I guess that's what happens when they play around with the software.

Stick with the original software and suppliers updates and your safe.:D

I made a list SE compared to symbian V3, theres quite a few things. But Nokio picked up their game since then, SE's Sofia hasnt been launched as yet, and if it doesnt match up to the N95 SE might be in trouble. They still on top, just have nothing to compete against the N95 and E90!

yeah, they still just bricks! big bricks!

:D

You mean Nokio right? until the E90 theres no Nokio N-series that has any style!!

Theres no problems with the N80 software, nothing on the SP side, just plain Nokio crap phone.
P990 still available, had problems only the first month of release.

Bit of a double sided statement. I would think that a crap phone has crap/disrupted software. But anyhow... that is what was told to me by someone i know who works for VC and followed it up by emailing VC themselves and got the exact same answer.

I dont understand how you see a SE as sub-standard to the nokia's. It is just as great (maybe not as much tech) but at least Sony have knowledge within the camera, mp3 etc department.

Found a link that compares the Nokia N95's 5MP camera to the SE K800i's 3.2MP camera. SE came out as better with this statement...

The Nokia camera shows all it’s 5 megapixels and the photos are splendid. But in all the other cases, due to Nokia’s not-so-perfect noise reduction algorithm and over sharpening, pictures taken with the Sony Ericsson are better.

So i guess they take better pictures with a far less resolution. :p

I still think the N95 is a great phone but lets not shoot SE down, because they aren't at all crap or inferior

Above quote was taken from: http://www.cameraphonesplaza.com/nokia-n95-vs-sony-ericsson-k800i

I find that SE gives me more problems with the internet settings than ure run of the mill Nokia. theyre good as jukeboxes but the Nokia N91 has nipped them in the bud there too now.

Do you have a page which maybe compares the two or is that just your opinion? I find SE sound far better

I have to agree with Snakepit. The Nokias really does have better sound than the SE's. I compared the N80 with the W810i two day ago. The N80 is by far much better on sound than the W810i. Maybe it's just my opinion but I tested it and I'm not a fool when it comes to sound quality.

If you think the Nokia phones are hot, wait till you hear the N95's Stereo speakers.:D

It's unbelieveble.:)

The N95 is in a class of its own. Untouchable.

And the reason is because its not just a phone. Its a multimedia computer without a CD-Rom. :D

Im an opinionated individual myself, but i do also go through phones like my uncle goes through cars:p
Ive been around the block in this regard and i know what im talking about:)

See each handset has its niche in the market, motorola focuses on how flat they can make a phone but before that they were releasing their m series( 2002/3) and it looked like they were one of the most realistic gprs phones windows like.Samsung introduced the small trendy slide phones. Nokia has its superior quality carl ziess optics that it focuses on, the imates are mans best friend when it comes to a handheld computor, the SE gave lovely sound quality, and finally the lg is coming to bat with its own wikky wild dj turntable phone:rolleyes:
I just feel that if SE dont pull up their socks and come up with something that'll blow us away real soon theyre gonna have a tougher time in future.

Opinionated- leave it, dont leave it:D
