Yeah the modularity of the victron is handy. Especially since you dont have to RMA the whole unit if something breaksThe interface and software on the Victron is nicer... But also its modular which means if one mppt is down, you replace it. Sunsynk is an integrated unit. If you lose an MPPT, the whole unit needs to be replaced or repaired. Still, it's a chunk of change to pay for the modular approach.
At R16k per MPPT controller I hope they don't ask question if it breaks and just give you a new one.Yeah the modularity of the victron is handy. Especially since you dont have to RMA the whole unit if something breaks
How is your system going @Naks? What was the cause of the issues with the MPPT's?

Going like the clappers!
It wasn't the MPPT, we figured out that when we did a test reset on the system, we mistakenly switched the inverter to 'Charger' mode only via the 3-way switch.
Once they informed me, I switched it to 'Inverter' mode and everything was fine, zero issues since then.
Since the installation, roughly 87% of our consumption is solar:

You on prepaid?
Any lights outside potentially getting more rain than usual?
Maybe not the ultimate solution but if you have enough pv and battery power switch off eskom during this loadshedding time
Had the same issue, after several call outs eventually changed the EL and been good sinceffs...
Now it's also tripping when loadshedding starts.
And it's not the main fridge, the Earth still tripped at around 4am when loadshedding started.
Switch everything off before the power comes back, then bring them up one by one until it trips?
