Nandos quality deteriorating?

I literally lived on Nandos every evening 18 years ago. They made a ton of money from me........and then they started slipping. So I started making my own chow using their sauces I saved in my fridge from previous orders.

Nandos chicken livers hot used in lots of other simple meals for taste works like a bomb lol.

So I ended up ordering only chicken livers and used that to make my own lekker food. So from say (in 2008) R80 a night for a double cheese and pine burger down to R80 a week for one order of chicken livers which lasted a week. Win win for me. Lose lose for Nandos.
For about 4 years I lived off it as well, about 16 to 17 years ago now, I worked at the Rosebank branch of Internet Solutions and that was our lunches.
 
I used to frequent the Leaping Frog branch here in Fourways quiet a few times a month, after the renovations that they done, most of the staff left and the quality of food and service went down hill fast.

I always ask for extra sauce and I had "my guy on the inside" that knew how much sauce I wanted and how I liked my food and always sorted me out, after the renovations, whenever I asked for extra sauce i did not get any.

I complained to the manager once and they opened the packet in front of me and said that was extra sauce that they added, I was shocked. They use the worlds smallest spoon to add sauce and if a customer askes for extra sauce, they add one spoon full. They showed me the spoon that they use and it not much bigger than a table spoon.
 
I tried the Nandos in Knysna about a month. ago for a sit down meal inside. What a disappointment. The food took half an hour, they gave me two knives, no fork, and the chips were cold. The breasts on my double burger were like kiddies portions. Should have rather gone to KFC.

The manager did so they had just recently opened so they were having a few hiccups with new staff. But then at least give a good portion size.
 
TwitterST is gonna be proud of me. Having more franchise food and guess what I'm having. Nandos. I told them that they must not chicken out on giving a lot of sauce. So they filled up the packet with sauce :ROFL:

Wow. That was amazing. Finished the other quarter as well. Gonna regret it in the morning. But man that was goooood

so according to many, the nandos in george is very good but thats according to most cpt people who havnt been to jhb

jhb airport for me was always the best

that double burger is now double the price hahahah -- R80 bucks is a steal - its close to R150 now
 
It's called the DSTV business model, up the price and half the quality
