Hi All.
Don't know if this is the right place for this... but here goes...
I run a instance of opensimulator on my pc and have now got to the point where others can connect to me using a particular viewer. All is good except the networking part where I am totally a noob. In order for the installation to work I need a router with NAT loopback.
Question.
Do most or all routers have NAT Loopback functionality or is it only certain ones. The guys I have asked in stores have no idea of what I am talking about here and all tell me its pnp, sure I know that but also know I need to configure it. As I use 8ta, I have been looking at the TP-Link TL-MR3420 3G/4G router I see on the manufacturers site that it has a NAT firewall does that mean I can config the loopback.
Sorry if this does not quite make sense, but I am venturing into an area where i seriously have no clue, and would appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks
