"Neat Image" Noise Reduction

I'm doing a temp Aperture install on my missus more portable Macbook for an assignment this weekend so I might give their aperture plugin a shot.

Has anyone installed the trial yet? Does it watermark?

I've installed it. It does not watermark. It's a demo, not a trail. The limitations are that you can't save the metadata and can only save in jpeg.

Looks like it only saves the entire pic in the standalone application.

Neat Image Demo plug-in for Aperture /Mac is freeware for non-commercial use.
But its limited to only doing a part of the image if its over 1024x1024 and only in 8bit - what a load of rubbish.

Uninstalled.

I said standalone version.
I was addressing my disdain Neat Image at their misleading BS.

Since I cant fully test it I'm not going to fork out $80.

BTW - Even if they made a standalone version for the mac - which they dont - having it as a plugin would still be preferable.

The "rest" create water marks, unless you buy them. This demo can be used for personal use. (on PC)

Thanks for reminding me that nik software's dfine is fully functional for 15 days. Just what the Dr ordered.

Damn, I completely forgot that I bought Noise Ninja. It's might actually become useful with the G9...
