Need advice on accounting sofware and PoS

Hi

Can anyone advise me on an accounting software and point of sale/ till device that can be used for a cafe / takeaway shop?
or refer me to some reputable companies?
I am not familiar with how POS systems work, but must be able to scan standard barcodes on products like bread/ milk, etc...
Need a cloud based accounting service, was thinking of Xero or Quickbooks, but not sure if / how it works with POS...

What's the location of the shop?
It's always best to go with someone local in a case like this.
If you have issues, you don't want to wait days.

Location is Polokwane.

The other's I find aren't worth it, just based on their poor websites.
If they can't manage a proper website, then I wouldn't trust them with a POS solution.

Just check that. Read a bit through the site.
If it doesn't look like a winner, report back. Then we can look for something international.

Finding POS solutions with Cloud functionality in South Africa isn't easy.

Regarding the accounting service.
I suggest Wave.
