Awhile back I would of said no. But from YouTube, it can be done.

Tho there be cheaper boxes, if that is all you want to do.

Up to you tho, if you already have an Apple TV, it helps, I suppose.

Looking to replace my Kodi box with a smaller device. Auto frame rate switching is a must for me, as I'm very sensitive to judder.

Which boxes do this auto frame rate switching properly? It seems even the Shield has issues with this.

I don't have a Mi-Box S, and neither do I have a 4k UHD TV, and am very happy with it.

From the "tone" of the reviewer, I would give it a few minus points, as I get the impression he has an axe to grind, but I cannot say, due to not having a suitable TV to try, nor caring to much, as I am perfectly happy with 1080P, and I have no intention of moving to UHD anytime soon, considering the lack of material.

I feel the same way about that review, it immediately comes off like he just decided he is not going to like it.

Since their update they really aren't bad.

Too bad the one I installed at my folks didn't update and I only found out it was meant to have way down the line.

Fortunately the local support was excellent and they actually tracked me down on this forum to ask for details and then remotely reset the device and then it updated properly.

I am not a geek and wanna do workaround methods to get stuff to work
I am lazy and it must just work straight out the box :)
