Can sum1 please give me some info on how to get hold of the correct MPartner firmware for my E367 modem. CellC told me to download it from their site, but the only file i could find was for the 1820. I've flushed my 8ta E367 with this cellc firmware and it was working ok, but i decided to change it to MP because of the annoying connecter which comes up but doesn't work.
So i've flushed it now with the MP E367Update_11.810.09.20.00.B726 but the icon still shows cellc and a popup which ask me to install the connector but i just ignore it.
Was this a mistake to flush with the 1820 firmware, cos everything is working fine atm with the MP update.
Why didn't the cellc icon changed to the MP icon after flushing, and why is this popup still coming up?
I'll appreciate any help on this & thx.

It sounds like you have done the firmware update but haven't done a dashboard update yet.

I've installed this one now, Mobile_Partner_16.001.06.01.500 but the cellc connector icon is still there & popup asking if i want to install it.
I've shutdown & restart PC with no luck.

Have you uninstalled the Cell-C software from your PC?

Thx Jim for the link, i'll download this as well.

Update; it seems to be the same as the one i've installed now.
Did you download 'Dashboard Win' or 'Dashboard Update'?

'Dashboard Win' is just the installer to install on your PC.
'Dashboard Update' flashed the installer onto your modem.

I've installed Huawei E367Dashboard (Windows) I have the Huawei E367 Dashboard Update as well, but didn't install it.

I've re-flushed it now with the E367Update_11.810.09.20.00.B726 firmware, and after receiving the "update successfully" i've installed the cellc connector again by means of the popup that came up. Then i uninstalled the cellc connector with Revo so that i can remove all registry entries. When this was done i've re-flushed it again with E367Update_11.810.09.20.00.B726 firmware but still the same. This thing is like a virus, just won't go away.

It still sounds like you're installing the firmware update, not the dashboard update.

Select 'Dashboard Update' from the site JimM linked to above, and you should download a file called UTPS16.001.05.00.45...zip.

I've downloaded this dashboard and installed it, problem with cellc connecter solved and thx very much :)
The MP icon & files now OK on rom folder, but now it's looking for software. Modem completely down now cos i don't know about any other software than the dash i've installed. I am posting this from my Nokia now.
I've flushed & updated my E220 in the past without these type of problems.

Could this be a driver problem?

Cos this is a 8ta modem i decided to go back to the 8ta software, because this problem wasted my whole saturday.
The 8ta software installed the MP dashboard as well, i'm back on the internet with no problem at all.

Thx ginggs & Jim for your help on this.

It used to be MTN but now it’s just a Huawei that I use on MTN and 8ta.The Mobile partner ver.23 is nice, the extra skins look cool, and you can send ussd or read and send sms but when I just want to get on the net fast I use MDMA.

I agree . MDMA doesn't take system resources. I use Mobile Partner exclusively for viewing/sending SMS;s and (when needed) to use manual network search. This type of interface for frequency selection and network search is very intuitive, I wish to be implemented in MDMA. It also displays status of registration not only to PS, but also CS. But it is placed in different menu, not easy to find.

Sorry for update this thread, but i have to know one thing about this modem router.

I have it, but my firmware and dashboard is higher than the dc-files

What I have to do?

Flash both or pass that step?

Thanks
