Need Help With a PHP Developer

Hi all

Sometime ago I asked for contact details of some one based in Durban (a php developer). I got a few options, and eventually found a chap that said he could help. Long story short, that turned out not to be the case. So I'm reaching out again.

I need help develping a registration based website. I have learnt html5 and css3 from website tutorials and books, but php is just turning out to be a step to far, especially if I consider that I may (fingers crossed) have 1000's of users accessing the website at any one time.

So I need help. Either a php developer that I can pay per task or by the hour, or more preferable, a php developer who wants to become a startup partner (IT skills in return for stock later on).

Would prefer someone Durban based, but my partner is based in Joberg so I guess it wouldn't matter too much. Right now getting a site up and running is the most important bit.

What are you hoping for regarding cost per hour for the developer?
What's your company predicted to be worth in 3 montsh time? 6 months? a year?
Do you have a business plan worked out and a monetization path?

Thanks for the reply rward. If you read through my post again you'll see I do mention I'm happy to pay by the hour and by task.

I do have a business plan worked out as well as monetization path. As for predictions of company worth, that I'll be happy to discuss privately. Regarding cost per hour, I've been given figures from R200 per hour right up to R1200 per hour. I'm presuming developers know their own worth and have an hourly/daily rate that suits them.

I'm not trying to attract investment on this platform, I just need someone to help me with regards to the backend.
