Hey everyone, i would like to say first that i am sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I have been trying to port forward with my new router so i can host a Cube World server, but i have not had any success and i have followed many guides and done each step right, Port Forwarding was no problem on my old netgear router so i thought it would work like a charm on this new one.

Router: D-Link DSL-2750U

Here is the Port Forwarding page: http://prntscr.com/3ymcac

Im sure that is how it is supposed to be, I have also tried turning uPnP off and still no luck. Any ideas?

Assuming your "server" is on 10.0.0.5 - have you checked that the firewall on that PC is allowing ingress/egress on those ports as well?

As a quick fix, disable windows firewall (if it is windows) and test. If it works, then you will also need to configure windoze firewall...

Try google portforward.com they got plenty of different setups there.I will check at home tonight.

I've had issues with portforwarding on the 2750 that only a firmware update would fix

Tried that and nothing new :(. Still cant connect to my external IP in Cube World.

@Magnum

I have followed the guides on portforward.com and have set it up right and all but it wont open the port :P.

@PsyWulf

Will try get a firmware update, never done that before.

If all else fails, give Simple Port Forwarding a try, just google it, the program is free.

Use to use it when playing Dota back in the day.

Ok, sorry for replying so late, been fixing internet things. I just tried simple port forward and it didnt work, so i put my IP into the DMZ and it worked but i hear it is unsafe. So... I was wondering if there was a way around this?

Do you have a link for the firmware update for it? I cannot find any working links.
Pm me and will send you link to both Telkom and retail firmware update. What firmware are you on?
