Need new ISP for gaming

Hey peeps!

I've been with Cybersmart and Axxess....Both were good with browsing, downloading etc but sucked with gaming. Cybersamrt - latency too high. Axxess - game kept freezing due to connection errors but they keep telling me it's not their fault. When I use a different account the game doesn't freeze so it's their bloody fault!

Anyway, I want a 1MB uncapped account. I use on average 15-40GB p/month including the bandwidth I use to play games such as CS and BF. Please recommend an ISP that will give me good latencies and no connection errors and also not shape the hell out of me, I mean 15-40GB is reasonable right?

Was thinking either MWEB or Afrihost?

I was running both MWeb 4mbps uncapped and Afrihost 20GB capped. Afrihost used to have random issues which annoyed the hell out of me when trying to game.
I have since canned my Afrihost account and just stick to MWeb. I play every night and don't have issues.

How much do you use for purely gaming? It might be worth it to use a Capped account for your gaming and an uncapped for everything else.

I sue Mweb uncapped, but Afrihost capped account for gaming.
 
OpenWeb 1024k Gold Uncapped FTW!!!

That's what I use and really can't complain eh, I play alot of BF3 and works 100% on all servers with great pings and latency.
 
Gaming aint a lot! I think I will try MWEB, heard a lot of good things about them before! First time ever I've had this issue playing games!

Openweb Gold seems like a deal but it's a bit expensive!

If you like, add the Pro add-on and have better latency. We also host WAGE, so the bandwidth won't go off - and since the WAGE servers are sitting on our network, both hops and latency are extremely good :)

I can organise a 3GB for 14 days trial, but you won't be able to add Pro onto this, but you will have FreeZone access.
