Need some advice! Audi TT or SLK

I am a huge Audi fan, the wife loves hers. But if somebody drives past in a TT she calls them idiots, if someone comes past in a SLK, she gets jealous.

Quick Q, are we comparing the SLK to the TT Coupe or cabrio? Id say go for the TT all the way, dudes in SLKs either look a bit douchey or limp wristed.

I have been looking at the 2012 slk, the front looks very similar to the sls, which to me kinda looks like a car for a more older crowd. I test drove the tt and loved it but I have been talking to my brother and he says to wait for the slk to come out before making a decision.

Thanks for input guys, always nice to get opinions from the mybroadband crowd

I would rather take the Audi, but i believe they have higher service fee's then mercs (Dont quote me on that)

But other then that the TT is the best.

Where do people 'hear' **** like this? If you're talking new cars, Audi offers a 5yr/100,000km maintenance plan which covers all your maintenance for the duration. Merc's is a 6yr/120,000km plan where the owner contributes an ever increasing percentage from 60,000km onwards. Seems like a bum deal to me...

/What he said...

Wait are we talking the new SLK here? If so then its the obvious choice.

I must confess I didn't even realise there's a new/facelifted SLK on the way:

Still don't think it's an obvious choice, although it looks agreeably less phallic than the outgoing model.

is there a new TT coming out too? the current model is quite outdated - except for the RS which is quite a monster. I'd go for a Nissan 370z personally...

The current TT looks outdated (and is).

The new Merc is hot, no longer a hairdressers car.

Mobilodrive PLUS - 6y/120000km - no contribution....but u pay extra for that!

How much extra?

It depends on the model i.e c-class versus e-class etc.
When i was looking at the E-class recently is was approx 10K.
Sometimes there are deals that include it to sweeten the offer.
