Hi Guys. I recently moved into a new house and the my upstream power output (dBm) is sitting at -19. Any idea what is causing it?

Mode: ADSL_2plus
Type: ATM
Status: Up

Downstream Upstream
Line Coding(Trellis): On On
SNR Margin (dB): 172 183
Attenuation (dB): 340 174
Output Power (dBm): 0 -19
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 16344 1176
Rate (Kbps): 4096 507
D (interleaver depth): 1 1
Delay (msec): 0.25 0.24

Your Stats is perfect. Dont worry about that negative output power. I also have that.

A negative dBm value just means that the value is a fraction of 1mW. In this case, your ADSL modem is telling you that it's transmitting at 0.01259 mW. The SNR Margin and Attenuation values don't look believable -- I guess there's a decimal point missing.

But what really matters are the rate that's achieved (which is perfect for a 4Mbps service) and the stability (if the margins are in fact 17.2 and 18.3 dB, you ought to be fine). Are you actually experiencing a problem?

Yes, there is many routers that doesn't show the decimal point. This is his stats:

SNR Margin (dB): 17.2db 18.3db
Attenuation (dB): 34.0db 17.4db

There's no problem, was just curious. Never seen a negative number before so just wanted some clarity. Thank you for the help :)

I also have negative values my router says as above...
