NeoFlex available next week

If I ever get coverage, I will consider moving over, especially as my current data contract expires in July.

Why is their coverage area such a closely guarded secret? Why don't they have a coverage map on their site???
 
I want to see speed tests from our actual forum members and hear their comments... so please somebody go sign up and tell us what its "Really" like.Yes i'm a sceptic... I'm a gamer, so i'm interested to see what the pings are like to local servers... but for now i'm heppy wiff my 384k :D
 
More coverage & more marketing & awareness or all their efforts are severly diluted.
 
The sooner Neotel can implement this service, the sooner Telkom can drop ADSL prices to juuuuust undercut Neotel. I can't wait.

I have had a wekkend with one of these toys and even though I don't (officially) have coverage at my house I was able to pull down 3GB+ in just a couple of days.

I would be astounded if Neotel offer an uncapped option on this particular service.

If they can offer me 10GB for R600 I am in.

I seem to be in a dead zone between two coverage areas which I hope means that I actually do have decent. Regardless I am going to take the risk and buy it the day it becomes available.
 
Telkom must make their services cheaper and they will get the biggest advantage ever cause actual people can use their services.

Sorry to sound pessimistic, but this sounds like it's working acceptibly without any network congestion - which usually means it will be slow when it is used... it had better come in at a lower per Gb rate otherwise it won't do anything to the fixed line market IMO.
 
Having started with coverage in the high metropolitan areas of Johannesburg, Erkurhuleni and Pretoria, Neotel is constantly and rapidly expanding to reach a wider area. Coverage in Cape Town and Durban will follow shortly. Larger regions, cities and towns will follow thereafter.
The quality of coverage may also vary within indicated suburbs of coverage in Johannesburg, Erkurhuleni and Pretoria.
