I wonder if all the new fiber we've been seeing has been Neotel?
 
I don't expect any ADSL service from them till LLU is a reality seeing that "CDMA2000 is the technology preferred by Neotel for delivering these voice and internet solutions for consumers"

Armitage, neva mind getting their hosting done through Neotel, these companies are starting their own ISP's!!!! havn't u heard of Appletizer online and PPC cement internet solutions???

The backbone of Neotel’s network consists of many thousands of kilometres of optical fibre cable following railway lines and power lines across South Africa. Eskom and Transtel developed and patented techniques that led to the deployment of the fibre used by Neotel, which is either wrapped around to the wires or within the wires of power lines, suspended along the electrical masts of railway lines, or directly buried alongside the lines.

HAHA the neotel bastards know what their doing. Theyre only providing broadband april next year cos they wont have to go thru telkom cos the sat3 monopoly ends....

Im more than prepared to w8 till then :)
