I just want uncapped internet , @ a reasonable price, speed can be anything from 384Kb/s. Hope I will get coverage

We got advertising all over our area for Neotel, but no coverage. That is a bit wacked!

Awesome awesome awesome +1 ...but why does neotel have like the worst website in the world? seriously its not to much to want to see their coverage now is it? Maybe its there and I just didn't see it...neotel if u read this please consider re doing that confusing thing u call a web page
 
Well I must say that I'm impressed. Not with the product as such, nor will I probably be impressed with the cost for the product, but the fact that NeoTel is actually doing what they said they would - listening to customers. I'm still holding out with the hope that they will provide some form of fixed line solution to the man on the street, at a descent price and reasonable usage allowances.

I would like that too. Will the device support Voip, or will Neotel allow it on their device?

I assume the device will only be available in Prime Coverage areas. At the moment I only have Lite. :(
 
I'm tired of saying I want coverage the whole time. When is Neotel going to give people an expansion eta?

Oh and Neotel rep, I've checked the coverage map on your site for Pretoria and it hasn't changed for the last four weeks. Where's my weekly update now?
 
I hope that I will be able to take advantage of this offering on their lite package! I'm in the NeConnect Lite coverage are but not for the NeoCennect Prime.

I sincerely hope that the fine gents at Neotel realise that by not offering an NeoFlex uncapped service they will merely :

a) Shoot themselves in the foot, by discrediting their own decision making and technical and business sense prowess. Sharing an uncapped NeoFlex service and sharing a uncapped NeoConnect service is the same f'ing thing, no matter how you spin it. Anyone who wants to, can share it. To not offer either one is senseless.

b) Annoy thousands of "Neotel-converts-in-waiting" that just need the slighest excuse to use their service.

c) Prove that both Mr. Murphy and that tool Adam Smith is always right.

:-) I digress.
 
Am I right in thinking that this is also a mobile solution within coverage area? I can take it to a friends down the road or even use it out and about with my laptop for an hour or so. ( I do realise its a clunky box but non the less...)
 
According to the article the latency is not so bad :confused:

As low as 60ms local and 300-600ms int is just about the same as ADSL isn't it?

So whats wrong with gaming on this?
