Did tests in our office (La Lucia Ridge, Durban) on 16 April 2.51pm, comparing iBurst, 4Mb ADSL, Neotel using servers in JHB, and Dusseldorf (German)...

Germany:
iburst: .76 down -- .24 up
telkom: .24 down -- .33 up
neotel: 1.17 down -- .52 up

JHB:
iburst: .78 down -- .30 up
telkom: 3.30 down -- .39 up
neotel: 1.23 down -- .52 up

ADSL wins local download (by far)
Neotel wins local upload
Neotel wins international (germany) download and upload

Download Speed: 1295 kbps (161.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 26 kbps (3.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload image as reflected in DUMeter shows bursts of information and speed is too low to successfully send large emails (via smtp.neomail.co.za). Unfortunately I have had to cancel my service as a result, pretty good responses from the call centre, but not much that they seem to be able to do about it.

my problem is not the latency at all , i run a
tracert to my world of warcraft server and get a max jump of 320ms, its
just the throughput as it has been stated before "sucking on a dry rock".

Please if anyone can help , assist or just point me in a general direction to get this sorted out :(
