I LIVE IN RUSTENBURG,AND HOPE WE WILL HAVE COVERAGE BEFORE 2012 AND PLANET X FLY BY.....

JUST WONDERING HOW TRUELY UNCAPPED NEOTEL'S UNCAPPED SERVICE IS?

my friends got uncapped... after a week of happy downloading..he got a call from neotel telling him not to download so much...uncapped my gat...

:( There goes the one thing they had going for them. If they don't let people d/l flat out then they might as well start with thresholds and similar BS.:sick:

How much had your mate downloaded when they called?

im not sure...i think it was a week of all out downloading...think he managed like a 2 seasons of ghost whisperer...summin like 16 gigs... which i dont think is over the top...

16GB is nothing for uncapped!!

I can guarantee that i have downloaded a great deal more than 16GB so this seems very strange to me. In my opinion the service is completely uncapped. You sure you friend is using the uncapped package?

This is the first i have heard of neotel phoning a client to tell them to not download so much and i am quite certain there are alot more people on MYBB that have downloaded alot more than 16GB.
 
myBroadband's Secret War - Neotel vs Telkom spies.... this should be interesting. You never know who to believe nowadays... :p
 
There's no cap. I've been downloading 24/7 for the past 4 months and for the past week since my ports have been opened I'm pulling a season per day. No one complained to me and I have'nt been paying a sent more than R999 (for data).

Your friend must be on some other package.
 
ye but i have downloaded 35GB in one month using neotel i only have a 10GB cap but still they never called me i calld after i saw the bill 4500R
