Hi guys. Sorry if this is the incorrect section, it was the closest I could think of. I've been working in a support position for a year and a half now. IT tech support role; I've got MOS, A+, N+ and just recently finished my MCITP EA. In the next 2 years though, I'm highly likely to be doing a degree via DL in UNISA. Just so many guys in who claim they're in "IT" in my field, who kno squat.
So to ask, how would I enter the "networking/administration" field? Cause most posts I see require atleast 2 years as as SysAd or NetAd. Or how did some of you guys squeeze your way into this field?

Thanks.

Techno.

Start at a company doing desktop support, proof yourself and then they should promote you eventually otherwise depending on were you live you can send me your details and I can forward it to our hr manager. You might start on desktop support but if you work hard you can be promoted in months

Well, I guess it's tme to jump, and work for a nother/bigger company; this one is small, and the only SysAd here's just started this year. Thanks anyways...
