Netflix and Hulu+: A PS3 Setup Guide

They blamed the isp, not much use to be honest.
Accessed it using unotelly vpn to uk.
I think they eventually figured I was not from where I appeared to be from and just fell back on insufficient bandwidth and there was nothing I could really do to persuade them otherwise

in desperation I reinstalled on the ps3 and it seemed a lot better after that. Will check again tonight.

Did you manage to hit HD last night using your PS3?

Yeah it got to 720 within about a minute. Then I went to bed ;)

I'm a paying customer, they're not going to chase me away too hard I'm sure.
 
anyone having issues with hulu? after they changed from plus i'm having a hard time streaming... the channel opens and i can view content, but when i try to watch something it just loads and then goes back to the home screen... im using a roku3 BTW... also, i have a 4M line with CW as my isp... no issues streaming anything else, just hulu

Try updating your IP address with UnoTelly.

Yeah, probably.
Strange though as only some devices are affected... I didn't pick up any issues on my end.

Hi guys,

I'm an idiot... i came across this thread the better part of a year ago and put it on the back burner till i had some time. Had booted DSTV all ready then.
Finally decided two weeks back to carry out the steps as per the guide by shreez and have been kicking myself ever since.

I have had my issues now and then with Netflix as per everyone else but most of mine have been the IP update, in some cases i have needed to update daily.

I am now having an issue with my PS3 & the PSN. Last night Netfilx was fine. This morning, i keep getting signed out of the PSN while Netflix is loading. I don't think it's a Netflix issue, more a PSN issue, as the browser will not load either, so i can't check if an IP Update will resolve this.

The error i get is error code 80028ED6, and a quick search on google reveals others have this issue dating back to 2009. Nothing concrete on how to resolve this and no solution from Sony either.

Has anyone else come across this error on the PS3?

Guess what, I have actually come across this error a few months ago, but can't for the life of me remember how I fixed it.
I did remember that I could not even get onto the Playstation Store at this time.
Some forum threads advise that you reboot your router, others put it down to high PSN traffic.

Make sure that your network connectivity is solid, which I'm sure it is.
Also try and see if you're able to get into the Playstation Store. Delete the app and re-install if necessary.
I do remember that once everything was normal, I was able to access the store again.

I'm really sorry that I don't remember, I know I did a whole lot of troubleshooting. One thing I can guarantee is that it is not related to UnoTelly. At first I thought this was the problem, changed the server, and then started experiencing the issue all over again.
