Lmao, it will ALWAYS be possible to bypass any geoblocking.

They(movie companies) can throw billions of dollars at this nonsense.... or ... they can keep the billions as profit and realise that no amount of money can successfully geoblock the internet, by definition the internet has no borders. Wake up realise this fact and use it to make billions instead of spending billions to police borders that don't exist.

Its also easy for them to just block users who are out of the region if they tried to access the service more than once.... if they really wanted to block us they would do that.

They don't want to block us... they want our money.

They need to appear to be trying… like a man listening to his wife

I've always wondered if they track how many of their users access the site from different countries all within a few seconds of each other.

Sure I fly from the UK to Mexico in a few seconds.

A few weeks after signing up wiht Netflix - I received a email asking to fill in a survey.
'Question 1. Which country are you located in? '
So on a whim I selected South Africa.
'Thank you for completing the survey.' :whistling:

The combination should sort you out on the series and movies. Give it a shot, worth it compared to monochoice especially if you aren't a sport addict

I've been asked this and this is the short of it:

. Not having to hoard TBs of data for things I haven't had time to watch yet
. Streaming is instant. I like something I want to watch I watch it. Don't need to wait an hour to download it and then not be interested no more.
. It's portable. I can log on to it wherever in the world I am and watch what I want. No need to download torrents first and then watch it.
. The fee paid is minimal, so much so that I don't even care about it. I can spend more than the subs to Unotelly and Netflix on a Sunday morning breakfast run on breakfast alone.

Those are quick ones off the top of my head.

Until all movies are free for everyone, the masses will complain about price and copyright infringement laws, etc.

Now think the almost 1k that mono asks for. That's when you realise what a good deal these streaming services are

I disagree, people want to be entertained. Series and movies are pretty much out of the reach of the masses in SA. It's basically pay R700 and get some movies & series or don't and get none.
That's the problem, most people want to pay a reasonable amount of money for a reasonable amount of entertainment. People don't complain that live music tours by artists aren't free, the amount is reasonable for the entertainment. People don't complain that games are aren't free, maybe sometimes that they're expensive yes. Problem with Series and Movies are simply that they're not available in SA AT ALL unless you pay mulichoice R700 which is simply too much for an episode or two a week. Most people that work don't have time to consume vast amounts of tv in anycase and they don't want to pay alot for using a little

How much TV does R100, R200, R300 buy you in SA, none... the problem is it's all or nothing which is just crazy

For example let's say you've only been following Game of Thrones this last few months and watching the news, what are your options? You guessed it R700 per month I mean that will be more than the box set when it comes out. People won't accept that approach

I always find this question so strange, because you'll get any opinion you want if you look for it.

It's FREE to try it out, so why not just find out for yourself?

Convenience really. Click and Play.

Also content discovery.

Netflix recommends me shows based on my tastes. Torrents can't do that.

Netflix is like $8
UnoTelly is $5

And Hulu free has a lot of stuff that you don't really need a sub for. But if you're into TV more than Movies then it's worth it
