Hi all,

Not sure if I'm missing something. I've gotten a family member an Ematic TV box so they can stream Netflix and DSTV. They bought a Telkom sim for their Huawei E5573B router, which I then loaded on the Telkom app. I then bought enough airtime and purchased the 10GB LIT Streaming Bundle, which is now active.

Maybe I misread the package, but from what I understand they get 50GB for select streaming services PLUS 10GB normal data to use? So when streaming, should it not first use up the 50GB first? Currently the 10GB portion is being used up when streaming Netflix. Is this correct?

If it's not, potentially the APN is causing some issue. I think it's currently set to "TelkomInternet" and maybe it should just be "internet", but would that cause this issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the LIT music streaming and it always uses that instead of my primary data. I think there are certain restrictions with resolution etc that you have to adhere to for it to work though. So just check that out as well.

Okay. I think I may have misunderstood the package. I thought you get 50GB FUP on any bundle you buy, and the other GB shown is just general data. But I think that 50GB only applies to FreeMe contract users and not prepaid bundles. My bad
