Did the whoosh expire on the 31st of December 2010?

My whoosh definately is gone. I know I had a lot of bad connection days in the past
but today it's just gone. I got like 1MB in 15 minutes.

This is getting really frustrating.

i dont have any woosh. all i have is an overpriced, underperforming data bundle with a competitor who''s CEO is probably spending New Years on his private yacht while im trying to work over his supposed 4.2 Mbit air interface. i hate this world man.

The call center agent said they don't have any network issues at the moment, but he did log a fault report so now just have to wait I suppose :(

my woosh gone too :/
I was connected till 5AM this morning fine - shutdown - but ever since my new bundle kicked in - nada
I am getting cyan/blue lights - with the (lying) signal indicator saying 90% +

Just noticed that alot of the ppl having issues are from the western cape

I am also connected with a signal strength of over 90% and it is connected on HSPA+, just most sites timeout and there is almost no throughput.

It was fine early this morning.

all's well here in pinetown, durban. either your tower is overloaded or in need of maintenance...

I am out near somerset west - and i am assuming the others are nearer cape town - so I am assuming the problem (if there is one) is a tad more wide spread than 1 overloaded tower.

Me on a farm - so dont think their could be that much contention issues here

I am in Somerset West and have also been getting terrible speeds since the cap reset this morning (slower than 200kbps compared to over 2Mbps before). Can someone from Cell C please confirm whether there are issues with the network?

I've just checked my connection again to make sure.

RSSI: -79dBm
Connection Strengh on HSPA: 99%

So it is definately a problem on Cell-C's side. FIX IT!!!!!!!

1.8MB upload and 1.5MB Download for the whole day is rediculous. If I carry on like this then I will loose 1.8GB of data at the end of the month.

My father in Somerset West also complained about no 'woooosh' today,

Even simple webpages like this one are taking forever to load or aren't loading at all.

Just downloaded a 100MB file and getting speeds of ~130kB/s though(still much slower than normal though).

Let me rather use my Blackberry from MTN. I always have whoosh with my BB when I need it.

I didn't thought that my new year will start this way with Cell-C. If anyone from Cell-C can just send me a PM so I can see that they are working on the problem it would be great.

I'm in Randpark Ridge and have issues most the day too

HSPA+ ... 99% signal ... -73db

Modem stays connected, but massive packet loss and no throughput.

I've also got someone coming tomorrow to check this speed I've bragged about ;) Hoping its sorted by 10am tomorrow
