i don't normally eat kfc, i'd rather eat nandos but after watching the vid, disturbing as it is, it doesn't put me off...

animal cruelty does happen, it seems that most of our food is killed in a barbaric manner.
I would wish that our food animals (cows, chickens, pigs etc..) would be kept in a nice living environment, massaged every day, played soothing music.. and when the day finally arrives for their departure from life to my plate.. i hope that their life is ended with a painless and deeply pleasurable injection of somekind.. that way our food would taste better

I find it sad how many people in this thread made fun of the suffering these animals go through, some even comparing them to vegetables. Animals feel fear, pain, anxiety and a whole range of other complex emotions. There is no reason why any animal should suffer in this way. None whatsover. I especially find things like veal absolutely disgusting.

I agree it is horrific, but sitting on a forum crying about is not gonna change anything.
It might convince some people not to eat meat (or at least KFC) anymore. Then it would be changing something.

What we need now is for someone to make a nice video about cattle being electrically stunned or bludgeoned to unconsciousness, while their eyes wildly roll with fear. Someone with nice meaty breasts should anchor it - that should make it way more credible. Hmmm... let's target Wimpy, or how about Spur?
Has anyone here signed the current petition to prevent retired horses from being slaughtered and turned into zoo feed? Those elegant horses don't look so cool when they slip and break their legs in pools of equine blood.

I am shocked at how members of this forum make fun of this. You are so inconsiderate. I love animals, and I found the video so upsetting, and then you lot make fun of it. I am not impressed at all. I will never eat KFC again.

Well I never watched the video.... I have stated before that I do not enjoy videos where people, or animals, get injured or killed.
I am sure if you knew how many things were done you would not eat. In certain cases ignorance is bliss!
