NEVER EVER AGAIN EATEN AT KFC

I am shocked at how members of this forum make fun of this. You are so inconsiderate. I love animals, and I found the video so upsetting, and then you lot make fun of it. I am not impressed at all. I will never eat KFC again.

It's not KFC's fault that chickens are treated this way, the same chickens end up in supermarkets so why not blame Pick&Pay?

I'm an animal lover btw, but I understand that this is part of westeren culture, if we want to treat animals with dignity we should all live in huts and let our pets graze freely till the day they are slaughtered for sustenance, or pamper them and have meat costs go up considerably.

Hey, it cannot be called sexist if you are willing to eat and be eaten!

Bleh, feminism and all that jazz. Don't ask me. But back on topic, as you said ignorance is bliss. The only way less cruel practices will be accepted is if they are economically more viable.

Well I never watched the video.... I have stated before that I do not enjoy videos where people, or animals, get injured or killed.

I am sure if you knew how many things were done you would not eat. In certain cases ignorance is bliss!

I did not watch the video either, I dont enjoy watching animals get slaughtered, but from the comments I make out that it has to be pretty bad. I also concur that if I had to know how things are made, I would go back to being a vegetarian again. I had to stop for health reasons :( I do not eat any polony or processed meats, only free rage chickens and halaal meats.

It's quite horrific to see how fruit and veg are killed as well. :(
Poor carrots getting ripped out of the ground by their leaves.
Shocking

OMG i'm never eating vegetables again:D
I'm so glad I am a omnivore like all human beings BTW:rolleyes:
if you eat no meats you miss out on a lot of minerals and vitamins
I eat everything for i am a human :p

Which part of the video that you didn't watch did you find so upsetting?

But I do concur - hence why I didn't watch it either.

I couldn't watch it either.
One of my favourite songs is "Check out the chicken", and it would be too upsetting for me. :(

but from the comments I make out that it has to be pretty bad.

Its nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. There was a video I had the displeasure of seeing where to test some or other army thing they needed to burn pig skin (closest to human apparently) alive. This video is childs play.

I'm not about to watch the video (or any other video that has cruelty towards any living thing) but I do make a personal choice of only eating (eaten???LOL) free range meat. It's a little more expensive but definitely makes me feel better. When it becomes too expensive Id' rather go for the vegetarian option. I just cannot feed my family battery raised, hormone and antibiotic fed, cruelly butchered meat.

Btw, I don't eat KFC.

The only part of the video i didnt like was the part where they cut of the chicken's beaks. Thats low IMO, hopefully that doesn't happen at rainbow, tydstroom and all the others here is SA. The rest of it was pretty normal except kickin the crap out of a few chickens at the end thats just crazy peta stuff.

I watched without sound, what is the point of this?
Thats what i thought:confused: It makes no sense? If they could save on processing cost later they might as well cut of their legs while they're at it. I really dont think they do that at our plants they're going to chop the head of anyways? Why would they de-beak them then later sell them without the head?

Battery chickens have their beaks clipped/cut off to stop them damaging themselves and/or other chickens ....... tis pretty sick :o

NO i'm not kidding what the hell is a battery chicken:confused: Is it a fast-growing chicken for consumption? I didnt grow up on a farm i dont know chickens in their "alive" state as some might call it, though they taste pretty alive with them Zinger spice and souce damm it burns:eek:
