Not on the 13" but on the 15" you need to get the battery out which uses tri-wing screws.

Tri-Wing magnetic bits can be ordered from Christensen Tools, sizes 0-5 R7.90 exVAT each, sizes 6-9 R10.70 exVAT each. Just need a hexagonal driver handle for the bits to fit in which many people already have.

You don't need to remove the battery on the 15" either.

The 2010-2011 MBPs runs much cooler that the old ones. Except when you watch movies in flash and play games

Digicape...not so great

Hey all,

Just thought I would let you know. Don't expect good service from Digicape.

2 weeks ago I phoned to put my name on the list for the new Macbook Pro. I hear people are getting theirs already but I have had no contact.

I phoned their other branch and was greeted with a very rude/arrogant sounding lady.

I am on this list and I am in desperate need of the MacBook Pro - but they don't care to help or give me an ETA or even a phone call.

Not exactly the service you expect from Digicape. I may just go back to iStore.

So perhaps, instead of going to Digicape, go where you can get stock and good service. Heck, even the guy at Incredible Corruption was more helpful...:wtf:

Hey.

Desperately need to upgrade the old iMac to one of these new MBPs. Spoke to someone at Digicape today that said I'm looking at a 3 week wait. I was planning on picking one up this coming weekend, if finances worked out.

Anyone got any ideas where I can get one within the next week or two? Gonna mail/call all the usual places tomorrow, but give me a shout if you can help me out.
