Looking for a TV, 55", price 12k - 16k.
I have looked at some LGs, Samsung, Hisense.
Hisense 55U8QF, 55U7QF
LG Nanocell NANO86 55"

Really not sure. I have a nVidia Shield 2019 device and Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 sound system, so would prefer Dolby Vision and Atmos support.
FALD - is it good / worth it?
Cheaper or more expensive products can also be mentioned, although I doubt I will go over 16k. Your input would be highly appreciated.

Above budget but you'll probably find it ticks all the spec's box's your looking for.
I went looking for Samsung replacement & ended up with that LG Oled.
I don't buy a new tv very often & felt the newer model other ones don't really offer anything too much better than what i already had. That Takealot price is R1000 below what i found it for around black friday area

Very nice TV indeed, but yes it is quite expensive.

Do you have one ? It looks pretty nice on paper, would like to hear some real world feedback.
Yep, I have one. bought it for the PS as it has HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz ... only one if I remember correctly at a decent price.

Images are super clear, and the PS looks amazing ... 4K streaming is vivid and colours I've never experienced before (main tv is a LG 49" that is 8 years old) ... so yeah, a whole new world for me.

ONLY downside is that is uses WebOS and not Android TV like the Sonys, BUT I have been able to do everything with the apps available, so also not really a major issue

What is the NITS and peak brightness of this TV? Can't find it anywhere...

Another vote for the NANO86 55", screen quality is great and nothing comes close to the magic remote.
