atm my line is down the crapper tekom says everything is fine,
used to be good now slow and snr is worse

so,getting a new line,from a new telephone pole (its actually bit closer to me)
and have that as a dedicated adsl line
no other phones or jacks

so pole-wall jack-router

what is the chance that it will fix my problems?

i am at 6.5mb ATM,with a snr of 5

last time i was on 6mb it was at way over 14db

so u guys think its worth a shot

as its from a pole,long cable,2 wall jacks 2 phones etc
and a old pole where the cylinder thing is not lekker anymore (fallen over) they fixed it but didn't do anything,now it fallen over again :/

but when i do a adsl check it says no ports available ,means i cant order a new line atm?

also what contract offer free installation,with out data?

Please use the spell-check (it underlines your words in red).

What was your attenuation previously? Missing to many facts in order for us to say if replacing the line will lead to an improvement.
 
jajaja i know my spelling is ****....

my snr was 7 @ 10mbps
now its 5 @ 6.5mbps

telkom says its fine,nothing wrong with my line
 
think i should get a new line,will be the best bet,and will cut out the problems at the old jacks etc

whole new everything

but is there one where i can get free installation ?
or do i have to pay the off R600?

now my line is dead

no dial tone or anything :/

know it would happen

from stable [email protected] then 8@6db then 6mb@5db, according to telkom nothings wrong

and yesterday its died complacently,even the land line (voice)
 
just a update,line is back online but exchange is not so good :(
