New car advice

Just to update. I went with the Audi A3, and I think it was the right choice. It's a fantastic car, with all the bells and whistles that I need, and it goes fantastically. Huge improvement over my previous car.

It was a tough choice between this and the Polo, both a brilliant cars, but the Audi was just a tad tempting.

It's the 1.8TFSI. It goes like a bat outta hell, those TFSI engines are pretty damn impressive. Fuel consumption looks like it's not too bad either, apparently I'm using around 8L / 100KM's, then again I had a bit of fun with it this weekend which probably pushed it up a bit.

Oooh very nice. Would have liked to have a run with you to see how much quicker the 1.8 is than my 1.4, but you are right that they are great engines. I get on average <7/100 when including twice daily grinding traffic, usually around 5/100 when traffic flows nicely and one doesn't have to stop at every second light.

Haha, yes, would be lekka. Jeez, that's decent fuel economy, well I'm going to drive efficiently this morning and see what I can squeeze from the tank.

I initially opted for 1.4, and was considering the A1 with the 1.4 TFSI, but then I saw the A3 :love:
