ford focus ST or Audi A3 (1.8 T) out the box

which one? i will likely get it in black/grey and possibly near september time.

also colour suggestions. (please not silver)

obviously petrol consumption is not an issue.
 
A3 from this side as well. Audi looks good in black, I reckon. How about a S3? They're sexy in white, surprisingly.(I hate white cars)
 
Well depends what type of car you want to sit in every day, personally I would take the A3 if I were older, its an Audi and you know Audi's standard etc etc, but I am 18 the Focus ST is fast and has racing specs etc etc

But then again thinking about it, Its an Audi, I would take the Audi anyday! lol :P
 
A3 no question, they have a charcoal that colour that just scream class..
 
You can kill yourself in any car :p Just don't drive like a complete plonker :D Did you consider something from BMW maybe?

Edit - Forgot about the charcoal color from Audi. +1. It's just sexy as heck...
 
well i have narrowed down to these two cars.

st is a beautifully designed machine - great exterior through to interior.

audi A3 has a higher standard, possibly higher after market support, but oh so beautiful on the road too.

Ummm...have you looked at ST's resale values? ;) Unless you don't mind burning money, that is...
As for killing yourself, the S3 outputs 188kW and the ST does 166kW. Both figures are more than enough to get you into a load of trouble.

buying ANY car is burning cash - i am not really interested in resell value of any car i purchase.

only thing i am interested in is after market service

audi loses there big time

and ofcourse i am interestd in the drive pleasure.

not surprised to see the A3 getting praise.

You right S3 looks saxy in white.
 
There's no new shape A3 1.8T, it's a 2.0T (147Kw). I'd take the Audi A3 but it's very expensive brand new; A3 R279500 (R300k+ with extras) vs. ST R249700. If money's not a problem then buy the A3.

it's a difficult choice...

if your a sporty kind of a person, I'd go with the ford focus ST.

Colours - white, black, dark silverish colour.

If you like luxury and a bit of sport combined i'd prefer the audi.
but engines more than 2.0 or 2.5T

and maybe an executive packaga aswell. for Audi nothing below 2.0litreT or maybe a 1.9tdi doch engine... your best bet.

ford focus st is so much faster than a audi 1.8T. if you going to start comparrisions.* eek spelling

have you considered about monthly installment and service payment on the audi especially?

services are quite hectic aswith insurance

man o man if i had the money i would upgrade my fiesta

ford's quality is outstanding

audi's seem boring to me
