New Case, Now PC Won't Turn On

After installing everything, I plugged in the power supply to the wall, turned the PSU on, pressed the power button on the case and, nothing. I've checked and double checked that all the cables are in the right way. I've tried unplugging my HDD's, I've tried a different power supply, I've tried different wall sockets, I've tried a different motherboard and I've tried removing the graphics card.

I originally thought it was me not plugging in the front panel connectors to the motherboard properly, but after checking with my motherboard manual and trying virtually every other combination, I'm sure that's not the problem. I did a quick google and the only possible solutions are a new power supply or the front connectors aren't in properly, both of which I've already crossed out.

No lights come on, no sounds, no fans turn on either. I do hear a very soft sound coming from my PSU once I've turned it's power on, but I'm pretty sure that's normal.

Case is a HAF932 btw.

Uh? could you give an example? I know what you mean, but I'm not sure what to look for.

Try to switch on the pc via a jumper?
If it works the power switch must be faulty.

Take it all part and start over, if you still have problems take it apart and try booting from the mobo without the case.

could be the front panel power switch going to the mobo, you can test this carefully with a jumper.
btw you did remember to connect the 12v 4 pin molex to the board ( yellow & black wires)?

^^ Yup I did, I tried starting it by putting a screwdriver in between the power two pins. That didn't work...

IS your motherboard installed with riser screws to the case?

did you switch the PSU on at the back? sometimes we forget the silliest things.

I reckon the booting from a jumper is the best option, but you say you've tried that?

as Drake asked, did you plug in the 4 or 8 pin?

The gold/bronze ones that go underneath the motherboard? Yup.

And yes, EVERYTHING is plugged in.

Unplug the main power molex, you can test the PSU by shorting the green ( PS_ON# pin 16) to black, should hear/feel the PSU fan spin up. For caution unplug everything else from the power supply. A multimeter would come in handy at this point.
