New Cell C contract promotion

This is basically just a 12 month contract that will be automatically renewed after a year so you will then be able to choose another new phone that will fall in that category at that time, problem is that you unable to customize the package to your liking. You will be paying off the phone you take over 12 months and getting a R100 airtime free per month I guess.

Can't keep up with all these new offers fron Cell C.

SO if you start with a S3 do you keep getting a new S3 every year until the S4 comes out ??

This isn't actually any kind of a deal, you're just paying for 2 phones instead of 1 over your contract duration.

Question 1: Do the phones change every year. ie in 4 years time an s3 will be old as anything. AS getting the new top of the range Samsung ever year would be great.
Question 2: why is the out of bundle data 25c i thought everything was meant to be 15c

Also a bit confused.

Like for instance the Erica contract.
Is this like a top up 75 because it says included value of R75 and the R124 is an installment on the phone to get to R199 subscription?

R124 x 12= R1488.

The cash price of a Nokia Asha 302 or 303 is +- R1400.

Does not seem like such a good deal to me. More like a savings plan to buy the phone each year.

Pfft.

Cell C we like your deals, but how about sorting the network coverage issues first... Your 3G network hasn't worked properly in my work neighbourhood for close to 2 months now. Android smartphones don't like EDGE or GPRS networks...

I guess this sort of makes sense if you like to get a new phone every year. So pay a little more pm knowing that you will probably be getting the next iteration of your phone.

In the past, for example, if you took out a Samsung Galaxy S on contract in 2010, you would have missed the S2 in 2011, and now only be up for upgrade in 2012 to say the S3. So, with this you will have every model - perfect for the technophobes.

Makes sense when u look at it that way

Ja ok... there are some aspects to these "contracts" that need clarification... but hell the options are about 100x more transparent than anything MTN and Vodacom currently have in the market!
