**New Contract Connection Charge**

I took out an additional Vodacom contract in a Vodacom shop.

I was charged in the store for the new SIM & connection pack - Just over a R100.00

Then, a couple of days later, my bank account was debited for the contract cost as well as a connection fee.

I phoned Vodacom to query this & they said that I have to go back to the shop so that they can check out the issue blah blah blah etc etc etc

With a SIM card costing R0.99. My question is simply was this charge correct i.e. SIM & connection pack plus an additional connection fee?!?

The R97.00 charged to your account is the standard connection fee. It has always been there. The only time it does not apply is when it is explicidly stated on the deal such as some of the 3G deals.
