Thanks for the headsup piet... I was about to switch to Vodacom... That's the last thing I need.... there goes that idea!

When I read this earlier this morning, I really didn't have a clue what you meant, just read it again and the caffeine has certainly helped with re-interpretating what you meant to post, which I assume is:I posted a fred last month about the same thing but cannot find anything.
2 threads merged.I posted a [-]fred[/-] thread last month about the same thing but cannot find anything.
Vodacom recently discounted the 3G packages . The 1 Gig package I have is not only R349.00 per month.
But it seems as if they are getting their money back on another way now.
Last month I went over my 1 Gig limit and had to pay extra, the first time it happened since I have my 3G. It is OK, I might have downloaded something big.
Did you buy the bundle near the end of the month?
That's a very good point & question, also the primary reason why I have switched from using a [searchforum]CDB[/searchforum] to using a [searchforum]PPDB[/searchforum] instead: CDBs currently expire on the last day of the month in which they were activated, so if one adds an Ad-Hoc CDB on say the 31st of month X, then that CDB will expire on that very same day [i.e. at 23:59:59 on the 31st of month X], whereas PPDBs are valid for 30 days from the date of activation which can partially span over 2 months.Did you buy the bundle near the end of the month?Vodacom recently discounted the 3G packages . I am on a 1 Gig contract. SO I have to pay R349 right?
The problem is that Vodacom put the correct amount on the invoice, but deduct double the amount from my bank account.
In June the invoice amount was R355.69 (bit more than R349 because I send smsses) but they debited my bank account with something more than R600.
I reported it a couple of time and up to now all they can say is that they are investigating.
Just to pi$$ me off more and to proof how bad their admin is, they did worse this month. The invoice amount is R356.98. They debited my account with R712.67
There was 204339.2Kb left on my cap last month.
Again I posted a query at the vodacom4me web site, but I guess that they will forever investigate. If they could not even make the maths between the invoiced amount and debit amount of last month (takes them 30 days to do R600-R355.69=R244.31) within 30 days I will surely confuse them if I give them the same maths to do this month.
What the hell is going on. I have been battling to work with the 3G for the past 3 weeks because it keeps on disconnecting and to reward me for my frustration you overcharge me.
Just telling me that you are investigating the matter for ever is not an answer.
If they do this to 5% of their clients each month they surely raise millions in interest free capital.
By the way, just in case they say that they cannot find me, the cell number for my 3G card is 0795156006, you can find my cell number on my account profile.
v3g
Why can Vodacom not just simply enable this function for none Vodacom direct customers. If they can give basic balances then why not the reports ?

Billing system got a problem.
Like HELL they do(for there eyes only YES(AHA they say)). A Month later you get an invoice, to late! The SP's insist they maintain your billing relationship.

That is a load of "twak" not the type you smoke. I am still waiting to see it. (Test data). @v3g As a representative of Vodacom who provides the core services, please ask them to show you what services they provide there !! users. They tell you but you can see it on vodacom4me. Lol![]()
. As posted elsewhere. We are still waiting on decisions from them.

@Csnoopy, the best thing to do is just use VSP if you are really having an issue with billing instead of one of the service providers![]()
All I can suggest is that you take it up with your SP. I can only help if it's a VSP issue. Or any network related issue, obviously.
Firstly I have a 24 Month contract. How do I get out of it ??, or move it to VSP?
...Basically you were invoiced R355 in June and R356 in July. The R355 debit order did not go through in June, so you were debited R712 in July.
Surely if the debit order didnt go through, his service would have been suspended? AFAIK cellular operators dont allow accounts to be in arrears unless the service has been suspended? I have the same prob with my SP (mtn tho) but they can kiss my arse if they want that money. Could VSP be the only operator to allow accounts to be in arrears?
I've had accounts with MTNSP that didn't go through once because the credit card details changed or whatever and they didn't suspend it. It seems they only suspend it if it doesn't go through a second time. That was MTNSP anyway.
yah well never-the-less they can still kiss my ass, sent stax of emails asking for banking details to do eft.... fell on deaf ears so yah, thats my experience. only got the contract cos of the free lappy that came with it.
I know, just saying.![]()
