New Cybersmart packages

Hey guys Cybersmart has updated their site with their new packages.

R799 for 10 gigs + weekender 3 + 15 gig bank + 4096 line, pretty good deal imho.
 
Yeah, that's excellent. Is weekender plus X 10 or unlimited on the 4096 circuit?:confused:

What's the 10 GIG Weekly CAP???
 
Yes. I think cause the 10GB weekly only applies to 384k cause weekend data is free. But with 4096 its only x10 your cap. So it 10GB account with all the addons.
Its very confusing and I wish they can just set it out easy for everyone to understand.
 
what the hell is a giggy bank- I cant seem to find an explanation anywhere on their site
 
weren't you supposed to get free time over the weekend with the new cybersmart deals- now I read this on their website:

For example, if you are on Weekender 3 and you download 20 Gigs during Weekender time, then only 2 Gigs (20 Gigs divided by 10) will come off your Cap.

so does their package give you free internet over weekends or not? or are they back peddling now
 
R799 for this?

Thats not a good deal given that R899 from Mweb gets you a 4meg line with an uncapped account.

Read the weekender3 tab - Free internet for 384 circuits & 10 times cap for other circuits.
 
I think there is going to be ugly confusion about the "weekday" bandwidth as 512k and 4096k is not uncapped over weekends.
 
I am on the Weekender Plus package, and I have Night Rider along with that. So far I have downloaded about 12GB worth of stuff since the month began. And my speeds during the day is flying! I still have 8.67GB left for the month, so I think this package will be better for me than an uncapped. Just about the same price, but the unshaped during the day...ah, I love it! :-)
 
It will be interesting to see how/if existing customers get upgraded. I will be watching my inbox closely.

...but - if I have to upgrade and pay more than the packages advertised on their home page, I will be looking for a new ISP...

Very interrested about that too.
Existing customers seem to have no choice to move to the new packages.
 
Ok, lets see... unshaped and limited cap or shaped and no cap..

I know which one I'll take thank you very much... and my Mweb connection is very nice and zippy during the day
