No, it will break if thrown but it should fit into any case that claims it can take an ATX motherboard, these things are quite standard.

Spend more on that PSU. Nothing worse than buying good components and then losng them to a cheap PSUs power surges.

Very true! I've had it happen a few times that the power surges or drops and my amp an tv switch off but my pc carries on going. All connected to the same plug

That "585watt" is a real 460watt. That's why they are cheap.

Some people knock the Odins, but there really is nothing wrong with them. A lot of people who buy them are looking to upgrade from a no-name brand PSU that probably only does 150watts or so. Obviously the Corsairs are better, but it is hard to justify a VX450W with a "real" rating of 450W and a real price tag of R750, versus a Odin585 for R480.
