New DSTV Channels kick in

I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH multichoice LISTING ALL PROGRAMS ON OUR 'BOUQET'.

Firstly I'm a so called Premium subscriber. BUT I object to Multichoice listing all BLOCKED, SCRAMBLED & IRRELEVENT programms. What is the point with that, is for advertising purposes or what? I really don't see the point of that because they make scrolling through programms difficult.

Didn't they say when you scroll (using the P+ / P-) you will ONLY go to the relevant programms?

Just a question: It was mentioned (on the DSTV forums I think), that some channels is subsidized by others, and this is the reason why you can't get a pay-per-channel option. No the question is, why did they cancel Sci-Fi? The official reason was because it wasn't financially feasible, right? Or is it because it doesn't fit into the urban target market, putting it into the same boat as MTV2 and Kerrang?

Comedy Central is an awesome channel, but I think it will be very expensive to stream it live. I dont even think we get the 'proper' discovery channel. If i have a look at errr some episode downloads for discovery... its series and episodes i havent even heard of... then 3-6 months later it gets screened here. Ive seen Mythbusters Season 5 for download, and were still stuck on Season 1 or 2 reruns.

We get the same Discovery channel that they get in Europe. Same with MTV, Cartoon Network etc.

If you step through the channels and encounter a channel not allowed in RSA, you may find that ALL your channels are now marked as scrambled.

The only way to fix this is a reboot, either by power cycle or from front panel, press channeldown + volumeup buttons simultaneously (bottom + right)

I always though ActionX merged Sci-Fi. I always see Andromeda, Stargate and the Stargate spin-offs on ActionX. The channel is showing Dresden Files & Painkiller Jane, which are pretty new series.

Anyway, streaming Comedy Central wouldn't work anyway. Time difference... all the top shows would be on in the early morning. I'm all for re-runs though.

I'm an anime fan, but I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy this channel. I reeeeallly don't like dubs.

Haven't had any problems it was on discovery 65 the one day and the next it was on the new channel number.

If anyone has problems unplug your decoder wait a few seconds and plug it back in.That should d the trick


Other than the channel shuffle nothing has changed.....

You bookmark the channels you want. Like SS1, MM1, ect... and arrange them from 1-20! That would be nice! They stay there, but you just use a shortcut!!

Someone want to explain the logic behind putting all those "E45: Not allowed in this country" between whatever channel I'm on and whatever channel I want to go to?

Bring back the ability to hide channels!
