New DStv streaming package deal

Since Multichoice updated the streaming app, the streaming quality has gone down the drain. I have mine on full hd, but it's 480p at best. I have a decent line, 150mbps, and Netflix 4K is brilliantly clear. Now how do they justify this 699ZAR package.
 
This DSTV Stream app is super K@K. Every streaming app works perfectly, except this. It buffers even on a LAN connection or the stream is always a minute or 2 behind. We know the bokke scored because we can hear the screams of a few neighbours in real time.

Hi All, we were able to login and stream the rugby match on Sat, but since 01 Sep, we only have access to 4 channels. Has this happened to anybody else, or does anyone else know how to fix this?
 
Let's hope Mr Gayton McKenzie can help SABC get some further sporting rights (Currie Cup, Proteas, Bafana etc) because gatekeeping national interest sport behind a massive paywall is not great.
If we can get some competitor sports streaming services (like F1TV) that could be even better.
 
When the next All Blacks / Springboks match happens, someone needs to compare SABC+ and DSTV stream to see which performs better. It would be balmy if SABC's free product is better 😅

Don't think I'll be able to stomach SABC commentary. Why can't they use SS commentators?

It was likely better, I used its direct feed for a while and had no buffering at all. In the end settled on the smaller 208 SuperSport alternative channel as it will have had least traffic, had no problems with it either.

How much bandwidth did SABC use?
